Car Ship 360 – Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: [09/09/2025]
Company: Car Ship 360 (owned by Hopper Discount LLC)
By placing an order with Car Ship 360, the customer (“Shipper”) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Agreement to Arrange Transport

Car Ship 360 agrees to arrange the shipment of vehicle(s) as described in the booking form. Car Ship 360 will contract with a licensed and insured motor carrier (“Carrier”) to perform the transport services. Car Ship 360 acts solely as a transportation broker and does not guarantee specific pickup or delivery dates. Typical pickup occurs within one to three (1–3) business days of the first available date provided.

2. Carrier Bills of Lading

All transport services are subject to the terms of the Carrier’s Bill of Lading, which becomes the official contract of carriage. Shippers and their designated agents must sign this document at both pickup and delivery.

3. Pickup and Delivery Responsibilities

Carrier responsibility begins when the vehicle is released to the Carrier and documented on the Bill of Lading. Carrier responsibility ends when the vehicle is delivered and signed for at the destination. If the Shipper is unavailable, an authorized agent must be appointed in advance. If a Carrier is dispatched and the vehicle is not available, a rescheduling fee of $75 will apply.

4. Vehicle Access and Locations

Vehicles must be accessible for loading and unloading. If pickup or delivery locations are inaccessible (e.g., due to narrow streets, low bridges, or restrictions), the Shipper agrees to meet the Carrier at a mutually convenient nearby location.

5. Payment Terms

No payment is due at the time of booking. A valid credit card must be placed on file to secure the reservation. A non-refundable deposit is charged once a Carrier is assigned to the order. The remaining balance is payable directly to the Carrier at delivery via cash, certified funds, or other pre-approved methods. Additional charges may apply for special transport circumstances (e.g., inoperable vehicles, oversized vehicles).

6. Carrier Assignment

Car Ship 360 does not guarantee transport by a specific Carrier, driver, or truck. Carriers are assigned based on availability, licensing, and route scheduling.

7. Inoperable Vehicles

If a vehicle is inoperable at pickup or becomes inoperable during transport, the Shipper agrees to pay an additional $150 handling fee. It is the Shipper’s responsibility to ensure vehicles are in running condition unless otherwise disclosed in advance.

8. Personal Items

Federal law prohibits the inclusion of personal or household goods inside transported vehicles. Car Ship 360 and its Carriers are not responsible for loss or damage to such items and reserve the right to charge additional fees if unauthorized items are found.

9. Liability and Insurance

Carriers contracted by Car Ship 360 maintain cargo insurance as required by federal law. Carriers are responsible for damage to vehicles while in their possession, except for damage caused by Acts of God, vandalism, road debris, or pre-existing conditions. Shippers are encouraged to maintain personal auto insurance for additional coverage.

10. Vehicle Preparation

The Shipper must prepare vehicles for transport by securing or removing loose parts, low spoilers, antennas, luggage racks, and fragile accessories. Any items that detach during transport remain the Shipper’s responsibility.

11. Damage and Claims

Damage must be noted on the Bill of Lading at delivery and signed by both driver and Shipper. Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery and submitted in writing within 10 days, including photos and repair estimates. All balances must be paid in full before claims can be processed.
Car Ship 360 is not liable for Carrier negligence but will assist Shippers in claims processing with the Carrier’s insurer.
12. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders canceled before a Carrier is assigned are eligible for a full refund of all deposits paid. Orders canceled after a Carrier is assigned are subject to forfeiture of the deposit plus a $75 administrative fee. If a Carrier fails to pick up within five (5) business days of the first available date, the Shipper may cancel for a full refund.

13. Refund Policy (30 Days)

If service is not rendered as agreed, customers may request a refund within 30 days of the scheduled pickup date, provided: The vehicle was not dispatched to a Carrier, or The Carrier failed to perform the pickup within five business days and no suitable alternative was provided. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to sales@carship360.com and will be reviewed within 7–10 business days. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

14. Limitation of Liability

Car Ship 360’s liability is limited to the deposit paid. Carriers are solely responsible for damages, delays, or claims once vehicles are in their possession. Car Ship 360 is not responsible for consequential costs such as rental cars, lodging, or storage fees.

15. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [Insert State], and any disputes shall be resolved in that jurisdiction.

16. Customer Representations

The Shipper warrants that they are the legal owner of the vehicle(s) or are authorized by the owner to enter this Agreement and release the vehicle(s) for transport.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Car Ship 360, the Shipper acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Payment of the deposit constitutes agreement in lieu of a physical signature.
